NEET/IIT-JEE Exam Day Checklist: What to Carry and What to avoid.

As the day of the NEET/IIT-JEE exams approaches, it is essential to have a checklist of things that you must carry and things you must avoid on the exam day. The NEET/IIT-JEE exams are one of the most important exams for students aspiring to pursue a career in the field of medicine or engineering. Therefore, it is essential to be well-prepared and organized on the day of the exam.

In this blog post, we will discuss the NEET/IIT-JEE exam day checklist, which will help you stay focused and avoid any last-minute confusion.

What to Carry:

Admit Card: The admit card is the most important document that you must carry on the day of the exam. Without the admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Make sure to take a printout of the admit card and keep it safe.

Photo Identity Proof: Along with the admit card, you must also carry a photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, or Voter ID Card. The identity proof should be original and valid.

Stationery: You must carry at least two pens (black or blue ink), pencils, eraser, sharpener, and a ruler. Make sure that the pens are working correctly and have enough ink.

Water Bottle: It is essential to stay hydrated during the exam. Therefore, carry a water bottle with you. However, make sure that the water bottle is transparent and does not have any labels on it.

Snacks: You can carry some light snacks such as biscuits, chocolates, or energy bars to keep yourself energized during the exam. However, make sure that the snacks do not make any noise while you eat them.

Watch: You must carry a watch to keep track of time. However, make sure that the watch does not have any alarm or beep sound.

Medical Kit: You can carry a small medical kit containing some essential medicines such as painkillers, antacids, etc. In case of an emergency, you can use these medicines.

What to Avoid:

Electronic Devices: Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any other electronic gadget are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Therefore, do not carry any electronic device with you.

Jewellery: Avoid wearing any jewelry such as earrings, nose rings, bracelets, or any other item that may cause inconvenience or distract you during the exam.

Unnecessary Items: Do not carry any unnecessary items such as books, notes, or any other material that is not allowed inside the examination hall.

Heavy Bags: Avoid carrying heavy bags or backpacks as they are not allowed inside the examination hall. You can carry a small bag or pouch to keep your stationery, water bottle, and snacks.

Fancy Dress: Avoid wearing any fancy dress or attire on the day of the exam. Dress comfortably and wear something that is suitable for the weather.

Conclusion:

Preparing a checklist of things to carry and things to avoid on the day of the NEET/IIT-JEE exams can help you stay organized and avoid any last-minute confusion. Make sure to check the list before leaving for the exam and ensure that you have all the essential items with you. Remember to reach the examination center well before time and follow all the instructions given by the invigilators. All the best for your exam!
