JEE Advanced – considered to be one of the toughest entrance tests in the country, is a national level examination and a single point entry to the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs). IITs are autonomous public technical institutes of national importance, which is directly under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Education, Government of India. There are a total of 23 IITs in India.
To qualify for the JEE Advanced Paper, students have to first appear for the JEE Main Paper (conducted in multiple sessions by NTA) and qualify. Only upon qualifying the JEE Main Paper, the students are deemed eligible to attempt the JEE Advanced paper. The JEE advanced Paper consists of two parts – Paper 1 & Paper 2 for which the paper pattern as of 2021 is shown below.

JEE Advanced Coaching in Guwahati
Potential & Concept Educations provides the best coaching for JEE Advanced in Guwahati. And we are proud to say so as we have been able to successfully guide as many as 250+ students in various IITs & 3000+ Students in various NITs, in the last 14+ years of our operations in the Northeast. In early 2006, there were hardly very few students from the Northeastern region who would appear for any national level entrance examinations for engineering courses. And hence the numbers of students qualifying in those years were very low too. So we started our operations in 2008 with an objective to improve this scenario in the region.
The first few years were difficult as the students were mainly focused on qualifying state level exams to get a seat in any of the state engineering colleges. But eventually we motivated and guided the students to start applying for National Level Exams such as JEE (Advanced). Our team of experienced faculties from across the country, our passionate team of Academic staff combined with our strong determination to provide the best quality education to students, we achieved our first milestone in 2010 with 5 students who qualified for JEE Advanced. Since then, we never looked back. In 2020, 27 students qualified JEE Advanced from Potential & Concept Educations and in 2021, 15 students have qualified for the same.
Below is the list of our Top Rankers in JEE Advanced over the years.
